HDDs often need very soft vibration and shock mounting solutions due to their low weight. This highly damped silicone free gel is specially designed for disk drive isolation and is much softer than traditional rubber and thermoplastic solutions. The 1209 series is available with M4 mounting insert.
This mount is available in three materials: clear ultra soft gel, white ultra soft gel but UL V0 rated and slightly firmer soft elastomer. These grommets have been used in a wide range of HDD environments. Ideal for isolating HDD's, CD-ROM's, DVD's & PCB's in truck, bus and aircraft environments. Damps loads as low as 100g, operating performance -20c to +60c.
